Photo Assistant

Jacob Cramp

People, Portrait, Location Scout, Fashion, Beauty, Stillife, Food

Know How:

My photographic experience ranges from having a good understanding of both digital and analogue equipment.
I have worked as both a photographic assistant as well as a lighting assistant on location as well as within a studio

Equipment I’m familiar which includes:
35mm systems, medium format camera systems, large format camera systems.
Profoto, broncolour, apertures, Arri’s, Godox, bowens

My digital experience ranges from:
Photoshop, capture one, indesign, Mac, Windows as well as being familiar with most digital camera system's.

I pride myself

in being on time and having to rarely be shown how to do something more than once, everyday is a school day when working on set and if there’s something I don’t know how to do or don’t understand I will always ask rather than assume. I like to make sure that everything is done to the best of my ability and that corners are not cut.

Can be available at short notice and not bothered by working unsociable hours

References as assistant / Career

For my own practise I shoot a lot of personal work which revolves around travelling the UK

my photographic education comes from a degree in Commercial photography at the arts university Bournemouth (AUB)
